Booked Hire Service
These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by Wagon Wheels Classic Car Hire (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By making a booking or using our services, you agree to the Terms of Service below.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring all passengers are aware of the terms and conditions of hire.
Bookings and Payment
The agreed hire rate will be advised including the maximum allowance for time (and kilometers driven) as part of your booking confirmation.
Unless agreed otherwise, a non-refundable deposit of $150+gst per booked vehicle is required within 7 days of signing this agreement to secure your booking.
Bookings are only confirmed once deposit payment and signed agreement are received.
Payments can be made in Cash or via Bank Transfer. Please contact us for our bank details.
The final balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the event date.
If the balance is not paid at this time, the hire will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Rebooking is subject to availability.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to contact@wagonwheels.com.au
Cancellation prior to final payment (ie 30 days prior to event date) will forfeit your $150 deposit*
Cancellations made after final payment is received are fully non-refundable*
* Should we be able to accept another booking for your cancelled date, time and vehicle – we may offer you a credit or partial refund, at our discretion.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to ‘acts of God’, fuel shortages, excessive increase in petrol costs, unfavorable weather, mechanical failure, local or government (road) restrictions.
We reserve the right to cancel or alter a booking and provide a full refund or reschedule where possible.
Booked Hire Vehicle Use and Conditions
Our classic cars are for booked hire service/ chauffeured use only.
Vehicles are for transportation, ceremonial and photographic/video purposes only and will not be driven on hazardous roads.
A maximum of 150 km of driving distance is included for any booking, regardless of length of booking. However, the further we drive, the longer your hire period usually needs to be. Additional charges may be payable for any additional kilometers travelled. No refunds for unused km’s.
A minimum hire period of 2 hours applies to all bookings.
Each vehicle can seat up to 5 (five) passengers, depending on individual comfort and specific requirements. Wagon Wheels Classic Car Hire reserves the right to decline the transportation of any booked guest if it is deemed unsafe or if it may compromise the vehicle’s performance or integrity.
Smoking, eating, or drinking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
Pets not accepted.
No glitter (including on clothing or body glitter).
Any persons deemed intoxicated will not be permitted in the vehicle. No refunds or compensations will be made for any refusal of service. The driver may terminate the journey at any point without refund or compensation if passenger behavior is illegal, inappropriate, offensive or aggressive. Passengers are to adhere to the driver’s requests at all times.
Any damage to the vehicle (including the inside and contents of the vehicle) by the hiring party or excess cleaning required due to misuse of the vehicle will be charged to the hiring customer.
We do not accept babies and children under the age of 8 as passengers in our vehicles.
No responsibility is taken for items left in the vehicle.
In the unlikely event of a mechanical problem or breakdown, we reserve the right to offer the next best substitute vehicle or a full refund will be given.
Event Schedule and Delays
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure accurate event timing and locations are provided in advance.
We will make all reasonable efforts to arrive on time, but are not liable for delays caused by severe traffic, road closures, weather, or other unforeseen incidents.
In the event that your plans change on the day and/or you intend to exceed the booked hire timeslot – you may liaise with the driver to pay for additional time at the cost of $150 per 30 minutes, in cash or by immediate bank transfer.
Weather and Safety
In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we reserve the right to modify or cancel the service for safety reasons.
Liability
Wagon Wheels Classic Car Hire accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services, except where required by law.
Photography and Promotion
Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant Wagon Wheels Classic Car Hire permission to use photographs and videos of our vehicles at your event for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website, brochures).
